We spent a couple more days in Phuket, chilling on the beach, working, and taking a cooking class. Then on Thursday we headed to Koh Samui. Koh Samui, is a little more our style, but still a bit bigger than we’d actually like. There are however, quite a few options for long term rentals so we might look into it a little further.
We checked out a couple of dive companies, but didn’t end up going for a dive as the prices were quite expensive, and mostly they all just head to Koh Tao anyway, so we figured we’d just wait till we went there.
We were all set to head to Koh Tao on Saturday, when Mike’s computer started acting up on him. We quickly changed our plans and ended up staying in Koh Samui a few days longer, hoping that we wouldn’t have to go to Bangkok. Mike found a computer tech to take a look and of course as soon as he turned it on in front of the tech it magically started working. For now it seems to be holding up and will hopefully see him through till we get back to Vancouver in August and he can buy a new one, as prices here in Asia are quite a bit higher.
I wish I had something more exciting to tell you about the last week, but mostly we’ve just been hanging out at the beach or the pool, and of course working.

Did you go see the Big Buddha in Koh Samui? It is a must see in Samui.
No we didn’t make it there yet, but we have to go back to Koh Samui to renew our visas in a couple weeks, so maybe we’ll check it out then.
